Corporate Parolee

A Corporate Parolee is still employed. Nothing about the job has changed. But whenever the Ankle Monitor comes off, whenever corporate stops owning the hours, they're on parole. Morning. Evening. Weekend. PTO. Even a real lunch break counts.

Parole is where you rebuild the person the job has been slowly consuming. It's where you train, create, write, build the business, make the art, see your people, and recover whatever the sentence has been quietly taking from you.

For some, parole is also where you plot the escape. But that's optional, not the requirement. Plenty of Corporate Parolees aren't leaving. They need the paycheck, or they genuinely like the actual work underneath the absurdity around it. They can still reclaim themselves during parole without reclaiming their resignation letter.

The core of it isn't escape. It's ownership. Parole is any hour you take back as yours.
